Plastic Design Inc. can address all of your chemical handling requirements. Whether it's carrying chemistry to a system or disposing of the waste stream we have experience in designing safe cost effective products to assist with handling harsh chemistry.
We provide Chemical Distribution Units, Carboy Holding Systems, Chemical Mixing Systems, Pumping Stations, Containment Units, Chemical Carts and much more. Shown in this image is a Chemical Distribution Unit, bulk chemistry containers are loaded into the exhausted system from there the operator can safely distribute chemistry to a system reducing the risk of splashes or spills.
This type of hood normally has a sliding sash on an angled open front. The sash can be supplied counter balanced or manually pinned at different openings and is never allowed to close completely, however, fully Isolated Hoods are available.
The angled design allows for improved visibility and access to ambient light, which augments the on board lighting systems. The exhaust flow is front to back with a front mounted spoiler to accelerate flow at deck level. Plastic Design, Inc.’s Fume Hood designs have been laboratory tested and accepted for flow uniformity and fume capture efficiency.
Hoods are supplied as table top or as standard units with fully exhausted base cabinets. The design of this hood allows for maximum ...
The lip exhausted system is the most flexible format in wet process tools. The open top design and 360 degree perimeter exhaust at each component provide an ergonomic work area with the most efficient fume capture available. With an unobstructed work surface, greater safety is a natural byproduct.
Plastic Design, Inc. has had their lip exhausted systems tested and accepted by major universities and underwriters. Systems are supplied integrating the simplest to the most advanced process modules.
From basic plating to a sub micron process, our process and engineering knowledge enable us to supply the best system to our customers, on time and within budget. With quality as our first priority, if you’re wet process ...
From the simplest PLC controlled sequencing tool to fully automated robotic systems, Plastic Design, Inc. has been designing and building automated wet process equipment for over 16 years.
Whether you need a four inch wafer processing or a one hundred plus gallon etching system, our experience will result in a tool that does the job, is on time, and within your budget. Our automation expertise extends to systems where multiple process steps are performed within a single vessel. The use of process components such as MEGASONICS, Multi Frequency Ultrasonics, and our BLACK BOX design protocol, allows Plastic Design, Inc. to deliver an effective and technically current tool.
Empty one gallon bottles that contained acid or base have to be washed prior to disposal. Plastic Design, Inc. offers automatic bottle washing systems, washing from one to twelve one gallon bottles simultaneously. To operate this system empty one gallon bottles are placed opening down over spray heads, a containment cover is closed and the cycle is initiated.
The spray heads wash the inside of the bottle for a preset time or a volume equal to three times the container volume in a wash drain sequence. At the same time the inside is being flooded, the outside is being rinsed. The system comes with a cap washer as an integral part of the unit.
Plastic Design, Inc. has taken the Traditional Horizontal Tube Etch System to the next level in safety and convenience. The traditional drive mechanism in this type of system has historically been either chain or shaft driven with a liquid tight drive seal.
In both cases potential hazards exist and reliability is questionable. Plastic Design, Inc.’s Horizontal Tube Etch System employs a magnetically coupling drive design which eliminates potential hazards from acid splash or leaking seals. There is no need to worry about wear or part failure common with other designs. Plastic Design, Inc.’s Tube Etch System comes in a size to meet your needs and can be a simple manual or fully automated station with all the safety features ...
Plastic Design, Inc. offers a custom etch & rinse system to handle your Bell jar cleaning requirements. The dedicated design is dependent on the particular Bell jar configuration being processed. Our design allows the Bell jar to be loaded through a full open front. Where necessary lifting aides are supplied. The access doors to the etching chamber are drip proof and are interlocked with redundant safeties to protect the operator from any hazards during operation.
The system is equipped with an internal and external spray system for etching & rinsing. Process recipes, safeties, and interlocks are maintained by an on board computer. The tool can interface to a bulk chemical feed system or be fed from its own chemical storage ...
Plastic Design, Inc. has designed and built a wide variety of transport carts for acid & solvent delivery into clean room environments. The carts have all the necessary clean room compliant features and can be used down to a Class I area. Our designs encompass multiple one gallon, five gallon, and bulk transport carts.
Bulk carts have on board pumping systems and can interface to your wet stations for safe delivery or evacuation of chemistries.
Pass-Throughs are chambers that have doors on either end allowing the ability to pass items from one environment to another minimizing cross contamination between work areas.
Plastic Design, Inc. has engineered all of our Pass-Through designs to facilitate ease of installation. Pass-Throughs can be supplied with the following options:
Plastic Design, Inc. has the ability to take the customer’s perception for a product, from a working prototype, to a marketable entity. Our team of engineers can bring your product idea to realization implementing the appropriate components and materials.
Once the working prototype is developed, Plastic Design, Inc. can supply finished products or systems based on your needs.
