Plastic Design can fabricate custom plastic tanks of any size or shape or thickness required for an application. We will add:
Plastic encapsulated steel bands for structural support
Support frames with casters
Hinged lids
Large Round tanks using our butt-welding capabilities
With our custom welding techniques odd shaped tanks can be fabricated as well. For difficult locations, Plastic Design has the ability to come on-site and fabricate tanks in place.
Holding tanks of any shape and size are ordered using heavy wall construction while paying attention to maximum stress areas with high load welding.
Fittings and ports are supplied as required, based on customer needs. Plastic Design, Inc. can also meet all of your mobile and specialty sanitary applications.
Day tanks are manufactured in any shape and size utilizing heavy wall construction and implementing high load extrusion welding in maximum stress areas. Tanks can be supplied with controls for monitoring various parameters such as liquid level, Ph, etc.
From DI water to Chemical Mixing applications Plastic Design, Inc. will design and supply the perfect Day Tank, either in plastic or metal to meet your requirement.
Batch mixing tanks are designed to work with closed loop filtration and auto fill systems. The tanks are built with angled vanes to create a complete mixing action.
This type of shear mixing is fast and complete with little air inclusion. Mixing tanks are normally part of custom fill stations.
To meet safety and environmental standards, all tankage and plumbing outside of containment must have intrinsic double containment if hazardous materials are used under pressure.
Plastic Design, Inc supplies both the plumbing and tankage to meet these requirements. On line leak detection is available as an option.
Plating Tanks are sized to meet your requirement and are normally supplied with temperature control and appropriate D.C. power supplies.
With filtration or simple recirculation our plating tank designs integrate experience and consultation with experts in the field resulting in the best system for your needs.
Dip tanks in plastic or stainless steel are available in all sizes to meet any requirement. They can be supplied with drains, overflows, as up flow rinsers, or cascade rinsers.
Placing beakers in a dip tank prevents spillage or breakage.
Closed loop filtration is a feature designed into many of Plastic Design, Inc.’s tanks and systems. Pumping systems, from positive displacement to high volume magnetically coupled centrifugal, can be used based on your requirements.
The correct pump and filter combination along with vessel design come together in the perfect system to fit your needs.
Temperature controlled process tanks are supplied for both sub-ambient and elevated temperature operation. In either plastic or stainless steel, control and safety are our main concerns during the design and build. A family of heaters and controllers are utilized depending on the application.
Temperature control to +/- .5 degrees C can be obtained with overflow design and a constant temperature re-circulating system. Redundant Liquid level sensors and over Temperature safeties are standards.
Plastic Design, Inc. has the ability to take the customer’s perception for a product, from a working prototype, to a marketable entity. Our team of engineers can bring your product idea to realization implementing the appropriate components and materials.
Once the working prototype is developed, Plastic Design, Inc. can supply finished products or systems based on your needs.
